Nike Dunk Low PRM Year of the Rabbit 2023

This Dunk Low is not only inspired by this year’s Chinese Zodiac but throws it back to the 2011 “Year of the Rabbit” Air Force 1. This iteration, like the AF1, is based on one of China’s most popular candies that also has a long history with the country’s tastebuds. Sneakerheads will be licking their lips at this Year of the Rabbit Dunk, a reaction only partly down to its tasty colour blocking.

Experience a sense of nostalgia with these on your feet, reflecting on all the memories you made in the Air Force 1 version from 2011 that will inevitably have you thinking that those were indeed, simple times. For those of you who can’t rely on fond memories, don’t worry because Nike has gone one step further by writing the year underneath the translucent outsole. Above, the upper is adorned with red and blue faux-fur Swooshes, blue laces and red tongue labels, just as it was all those years ago. However, the Swoosh hasn’t completely stuck to the old formula, adding red midsole stitching and an embossed rabbit graphic on the outer heel, giving the Dunk its own distinct feel. Inside, the rabbit graphic is printed onto the insoles, a detail that links the Dunk to the rest of the CNY iterations of the pack.
