Sat atop a white sole unit, the light palette and accented colours all lean into the palette that is visible on the Cote of Arms. A lined pattern wraps its way onto the mesh upper as a nod to the grid pattern embedded onto the silver field, adding to the sense of motion established by the iconic TPVU welded lines. Sat on the tongue is the cross of azure, here in the same jewelled finish as the typical TN Swoosh logo, with a standard edition hexagonal badge on the spine. Tucked underneath the set of white laces on the right foot are the words “Actibus immensis urbs fulget Massiliensis”, which translates from Latin to “The city of Marseille shines through his great achievements". On the left foot, the words “Marseille splendid par ses hauts fait” translates to “Marseille splendid in his achievements”, adding even more layers to the pair.
