Michael Jordan's AJ5 is undeniably one of the most fan-favoured Jordan silhouettes released, its design heavily inspired by a WWII fighter jet that designer Tinker Hatfield used to represent Michael Jordan's biting style on court. Clad in a minimalistic dark colorway, the new Air Jordan 5 returns in a combination of suede, leather and textiles constructed throughout the shoe.

A stealthy black hue adorns the overlaying panels while the translucent netting contrasts the look with a Wolf Grey colourway. What adds value to this new iteration is the reflective material adorning the quarter panel and tongue bottom whereas the traditional placement would have been on the tongue only. MJ's symbolic "23" player logo appears in tonal black embroidered subtly on the heel as well as the famous Jumpman emblem on the tongue. Paying homage to the Hatfield's creation, splatter detailing appears on the shark tooth-shaped black midsole maintaining its OG vibes equipped with a translucent outsole that finishes the look.
