Using the same colour-blocking as previous OG make-ups like the “Black Toe”, the upper uses the traditional mix of black and white, with green here being the accenting colour. Black leather forms the ankle collar, eyelets and down onto the toe guard, broken up by a set of contrasting green laces. White on the midsole, toe box and sidewall throw it back to the ‘80s, a time when white leather and basketball shoes went hand-in-hand like carrots and peas. Matching the motif is the outsole underfoot, swallowing up the AJ1 tread and star count in a similar shade of green.
