Originally landing in 2001, 16 years after the Air Jordan 1 High released in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 Mid was specifically designed to be a more fashion-led lifestyle shoe. Adopting a lower price point and colours that were brighter and more modern, Jordan 1 mids soon became a favourite for fashion insiders, but it took some work to win over the fans of the original Air Jordan designs.
