Since 2013, adidas has surged in popularity and continued to win over footwear fans with its great selection of releases. Established in 1949 as a footwear brand catered to athletes, the 3-Stripes would dominate the football and sporting markets in the following decades. However, signing a $1.6 million dollar deal with Hip-Hop group Run DMC in the late ‘80s was the first of its kind and a move that would change the footwear industry forever.
